passward.eu does not use any cookies whatsoever. Specifically:

localStorage

This website saves two values in your browser's localStorage: your language preference under the key pw_lang, and your theme preference (light/dark) under the key pw_theme. This mechanism is entirely different from cookies:

It is never sent to any server with your requests
It cannot be used for tracking or profiling
It contains no personal data — only a two-letter language code (e.g. "en", "it")
You can clear it at any time in your browser settings (Site Data / Storage)

Third-party services

This website does not embed or load any third-party content, scripts, fonts, CDNs, analytics services, or advertising platforms. All resources are self-contained. No data is shared with external parties.

The PassWard app

The PassWard application itself does not have INTERNET permission and therefore cannot use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or any form of network-based tracking. Your vault data never leaves your device.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), consent for cookies is required only when cookies are actually used. Since passward.eu does not use any cookies, no cookie consent banner or mechanism is necessary.

If you wish to clear the language preference stored in localStorage, you can do so through your browser's settings under "Site Data", "Storage", or "Clear browsing data".
